Hi everyone! This is just a short little update to life stuff, since a lot has happened, and I'm feeling really good about it! Firstly, I've begun the process of transferring from one department within my company to another, which will hopefully improve my experience of work, considering that it is the department that I originally worked within before I transferred to my current department. I am excited, if a bit worried about the transitioned, since I'm sure I will miss the kids I work with a great deal, and I have come to enjoy my coworkers as well, but ultimately I think the superior upper management will be worth it loss. This should all start coming into place on Tuesday of next week.

Beyond that, my tax returns came!!! Very excited about that!! Instead of spending the money on bills, which would perhaps be more responsible, I decided to get the Clockworkpi DevTerm RPI-CM4 Lite, which is a little modular Raspberry pi PC that you clip together like a model kit! It is designed to resemble and function similarly to the old TRS-80, although it is MUCH smaller! I am SOOOOOO excited for it, I've wanted one for a while, especially since they switched from the CM3 to the CM4 Raspberry pi, since that makes it a much more usable system overall, while maintaining the greater compatibility that comes with a Raspberry pi, rather than their own custom-made modular single-board PC. I also got the last Thinkpad produced by IBM, the T43, which I am super excited about, cause I love old IBM Thinkpads, and have wanted their last one for a while, since it is the most likely candidate to be refurbished into a somewhat usable state. The one that I'm getting comes with an 80 gig HDD with Ubuntu 14.03 LTS installed, which I'm just gonna keep untouched for now, due to the IDE connection rather than the more modern SATA, which would mean any decently fast SSD I might wanna replace that HDD with will need to use an SATA-to-IDE adapter It still won't be nearly as usable as my Dell Latitude d630, which is another mid-2000s lappy (that I'm currently using to type this), but it will still be a lot of fun to play with!! I also sent an offer for my first ever laptop, the Acer Aspire One netbook, which I hope that I get!!!.

In terms of what I'm doing today: I'm gonna be rewatching Godzilla Minus One with my mom and boyfriend in the theatres, and after that will be having my nephew over for a sleep over, so lots of fun stuff planned for today!!!!
